Who we are: Jim, lead photographer, I retired from the USAF in May 2004. Near that time, I took an interest in photography. I bought a little point n shoot digital camera, then just slowed down and looked around. When you take a minute and just look with an open heart, you will see so much beauty. I did that and started shooting pictures. As time passed, my photos started getting better and I slowly upgraded to better equipment and was able to do more. About 15 years ago, I bought my first DSLR camera and found how much more I could do. I started checking out websites that taught about photography and this DSLR camera. My photos really started improving. I photographed a wedding for a family member and they told me I should go pro. This was the encouragement I needed. I really started taking it seriously. I took some classes at VSU, GPPA and various online training classes. I met a photographer and had a mentoring session with her. After that, I began upgrading to pro level equipment, and when I felt I was ready, I started the business, joined Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Georgia Professional Photographers Association (GPPA). Since then I have been through numerous training from PPA and GPPA. Photography is a passion for me and I always strive for the most beautiful pictures. I don’t see photos as just an image, I see it as a look at a person’s soul. We are always training and trying something new. I now enjoy all types of photography. My personal projects are normally some artistic photography and landscape. Cathy who is my right hand, has a good eye for beauty and is normally with me. She is my second set of eyes when editing photos, she looks after the finances in the business, frees me up so I can work on the artistic side of the business. We make a great team, and she always keeps me and the client laughing. Our slogan is “Let Your Imagination Run” and we follow it.
The business end: We always strive to do things the correct and legal way. We are a legal business with a business license in Lanier County. We have a federal tax id, and a state sales tax id. We do charge and pay sales tax. We are members of PPA and GPPA. Our target market is “The average person” which means, our prices and rates are geared so the average person can afford photos and photo sessions.
We have an incentive program: This is, if you refer someone to us who has a photo session and buys prints. We will give you a free photo session equal to what we gave the people you referred to us. If you refer two people. We give you the same photo session as above and a $100 print credit. This does not applies to weddings, or events.
Financing: Financing is available this is how it works. Plan your photo session for 6 months in the future. If you know what prints you want. I will provide you a quote for the photo session and prints, then you make six equal payments, then when you make the fifth payment, we schedule the photo session. At the photo session you pay the balance, then the above work flow applies. Only the first payment is non-refundable.
Discount: We try to honor those who protect us. If you are military, past military or retired. If you work in law enforcement, or paramedic/fire fighter. I will give a 15% discount off any normal priced work or printed products.
Our prints: Quality is of prime importance to us. For prints, we only work with high quality, high end professional printing companies who deal with and support professional photographers. So, from me, you will always receive high quality prints. High enough that you can see the difference compared to a print coming from cut rate department store or drug store printers. Upon request, we will provide printable photos in electronic form but it’s not recommended.
Our goal: Our goal is for us to be your family photographer. For you to be happy with our work and not only for you to come back, but you will be happy to tell others about us.
Again, thank-you for considering us for your photography needs. Remember, they’re not just pictures, they’re memories for generations to come.
